Cordova Park is a wonderful "family friendly" community in Pensacola, Florida. Cordova Park is very close to the Pensacola Regional Airport and within minutes to shopping, hospitals, restaurants, etc.
 This community has it's own elementary school, Cordova Park Elementary, and a fabulous park that has recently gone through a major updating and beautification process called Vickery Park. Cordova Park is very close to the Roger Scott Tennis Center and The Vickery Community Center. The Vickery Center has a 22,500 SF building which includes a gymnasium, meeting rooms, billiards and game room, a weight room with exercise equipment, locker rooms and kitchen. The center is part of a 52-acre complex owned by the City of Pensacola that also includes an outdoor swimming pool, 24-court tennis facility, and football, baseball, softball and soccer fields.
For those families and kids interested in a volleyball league, be sure to check out Pensacola's volley ball league called the Lizards.
Pensacola has several dog parks. There is a large and small dog park located in the Vickery Center.

This area is also close in proximity to Pensacola State College, Cordova Mall, Pensacola Airport (for those who have to travel alot for their profession; the close proximity relieves alot of stress), and the area is centrally accessible for the various Medical Facilities such as: Sacred Heart Hospital, West Florida Hospital, Medical Center Clinic, Woodlands Medical Center and Baptist Hospital.
