East Hill homes in Pensacola, Florida!

Pensacola East Hill offers electic intown living that is convenient to everything with its city location minutes from downtown Pensacola, less then 10 miles from Pensacola Beaches, and just a short drive to the mall, as well as, the airport.

After 1900, the East Hill area began to develop as the town grew. Most East Hill residents were middle class citizens who built smaller homes than those found on North Hill with the exception of those that overlook Bayou Texar and Escambia Bay.  East Hill has a wide mixture of architectural styles that range from quaint craftsman style homes, Federal, National, Neo classical, to French Provincial. A change in residential styles came with the change in economic conditions after the lumber boom.

The area features small parks, the largest of which is Bayview overlooking Bayou Texar.  The East Hill Park is called BayView.  It is the location for the annual National Wakeboard Championship. This 20 acre community park is located on Bayou Texar in Pensacola.  There are eight tennis courts, an outside arena, picnic and children's play areas.

East Hill's boundries are generally considered south of Fairfield, east of Palafox, North of Bayfront Parkway, west of Bayou Texar.

The East Hill Neighborhood Association (EHNA) boundaries are: North Lakeview to Bayou Texar, Bayou Texar shoreline south to North Cervantes, North Cervantes to East 9th Avenue, East 9th Avenue north to Lloyd Street to East 12th Avenue, East 12th Avenue north to North Lakeview. Also including from South Cervantes to South Belmont then to East 9th Avenue and West 14th Avenue as of August 15, 2005. Inclusive of Southern East Hill from Cervantes Street, to 20th Avenue, to the train tracks, to 14th Avenue.
