    As a young girl growing up at the New Jersey shore, Chris created her first handmade jewelry from  beach sea shells .  Inspired by her global travels  to Mexican silver art jewelry studios as well as artisan jewelry centers in Bali and India.  She fueled her love of jewelry making  with continued studies of  silversmith techniques .
