Pensacola was named in Southern Living’s 2009 Readers Choice Awards!

Pensacola, Florida is a sea port on Pensacola Bay, which connects to the Gulf of Mexico. Pensacola is known for its 52 miles of sugary white sandy beach on Pensacola Beach to Perdido Key which is prevalent along the Florida Panhandle.

Pensacola's history dates back 450 years and is nicknamed "The City of Five Flags" due to the five governments that have flown flags over it during its history: those of Spain (Castile), France, Great Britain, the Confederate States of America, and the United States.
